It is eQuipping time again! For those who attended previously, not much introduction is needed.
If you have not attended yet - now is the opportunity to do so!
500 years of reformation is celebrated. Therefore we focus on what Reformation can mean for us today.
The Christians of the Reformation are often called “Protestants”. Although the word “protest” is used to express opposition, actually it means to give testimony for something. The Reformation in essence was not a movement against certain aspects, but for a clear gospel.
- eQuipped to reform!
Day 1: The fire of reformation
Day 2: The tragedy of reformation
Day 3: The power of reformation
Day 4: The promise of reformation
The team will be lead by Bishop Horst Müller and Pastor Dr Detlev Tönsing
The aim of the retreat is five fold:
• Bible Study - getting to know the Bible and it´s background better. How does the Bible speak to this topic?
• General Knowledge - getting current information on the topic.
• Sharing with fellow Christians in small groups - hearing from others how they view issues, and sharing your own opinions, insights and concerns.
• Fellowship - an opportunity to get to know people from all walks of life, enjoy each others company, afternoon outdoor activities, and evenings of fellowship, from laughter to meditation.
• Worship - time for singing, praying, silence.
• Time to relax - the program allows time for relaxation, meditation and recreation.

The climate during that period can range from warm (above 30°) to cool and misty (12°) - so a range of clothing is necessary to cater for this spread.
There is ample playground for children as well as a half-Olympic size swimming pool, tennis courts and beautiful hiking or mountain biking opportunities.
2 January 2017 (arrival by 17h00) till 7 January 2017 (early morning service, followed by breakfast and departure)
