It is eQuipping time again! For those who attended previously, not much introduction is needed. If you have not attended yet - now is the opportunity to do so!
The theme for 2018 is “Alive!!” God is the Giver of life. How do the Old Testament laws and 10 Commandments link up with life?
We believe that God values life. How do we as Christians deal with situations that threaten life?
Jesus is the Living Word. What does it mean for us as Christians to follow the Living Word, as opposed to written commandments or doctrines?
We will study 1 Corinthians as example of how early Christians tried (and failed!) to live out and follow the Living Word.
Day 1: God giving life - how do we deal with the old Testament laws. Are they still binding?
Day 2: God valuing life: Old and new Prophets
Day 3: Jesus, the living Word bringing life - the Gospel of John
Day 4: The Word living in the life and challenges of the early Church: The letters to the Corinthians
The aim of the retreat is five fold:
• Bible Study - getting to know the Bible and it´s background better. How does the Bible speak to us today?
• Sharing with fellow Christians in small groups - hearing from others how they view issues, and sharing your own opinions, insights and concerns.
• Fellowship - an opportunity to get to know people from all walks of life, enjoy each others company, afternoon outdoor activities, and evenings of fellowship, from laughter to meditation.
• Worship - time for singing, praying, silence.
• Time to relax - the program allows time for relaxation, meditation and recreation.

The climate during that period can range from warm (above 30°) to cool and misty (12°) - so a range of clothing is necessary to cater for this spread.
There is ample playground for children as well as a half-Olympic size swimming pool, tennis courts and beautiful hiking or mountain biking opportunities.
